MY FAMILY COFFEE STORY
My grandfather started Arabica coffee growing in the 1930s in Bicumbi, Rwanda. My father carried on the legacy when grandpa retired in 1997 and passed on in 2008 in Mityana, Uganda. I took over the business after my dad retired in 2016 and passed on in 2020. It is a long legacy to embrace and be proud of.
From my GARDEN TREE to your DRINKING CUP. Our coffee is cultivated and carefully harvested in both Rwanda and Uganda. We don’t use any artificial fertilizers in our gardens. Each coffee bean is hand-picked off the coffee tree and sun dried. It is critically examined before being transferred to the wash station. Then packaged for processing to give the best taste.
It is locally roasted and packaged in Upton, MA in New England by a family owned and experienced roaster,

Artisanal Coffee from East Africa
To honor my late dad and grandfather’s legacy in coffee farming that has existed for almost a century I have moved this business to the next level. My late Dad introduced fellow low scale coffee farmers in these regions to new techniques to bring out the best coffee. His target was to ensure that farmers earn a descent income out of their hard work on the coffee farms. I want to attain that goal by importing this raw/natural coffee beans from my farm and other farmers, roast and grind the coffee and sale to our valued consumers in the United States. This way I will help my local farmers get a good and fair price for their coffee meanwhile the consumers enjoy the best coffee. Without a doubt this will help them improve their standards
of living and help lift them out of poverty and maintain on the quality of coffee yields
